Before anything else, thank you for being here and taking a few minutes to get to know our story. Amigru is a family project built with time, hard work, and a great deal of hope. What began as a hobby—this habit of crocheting since we were children—grew little by little until it became something we feel deeply connected to.
Crocheting has always been an important part of our routine. We went from scarves to hats, and from hats back to scarves, but when we discovered amigurumis, something changed.
Crochet is a tradition we’ve inherited and continue to nurture because it helps us reconnect with ourselves. We treasure those moments when our hands move slowly and our mind stays calm. We love how amigurumis fill any space with a sense of serenity and tenderness, and how each person who makes them leaves a bit of themselves in every piece.
Every creation carries a small story
Every creation carries a small story. Not only ours, but also the story of the person who chooses to make it afterward. That’s why no two are ever the same, and that uniqueness is, for us, one of the true beauties of handmade work.
Our hope is that our books serve as a source of inspiration and encourage you to find those much-needed moments of pause. We live surrounded by hurry, and even so, spending a little time creating something with your hands can completely change your day. Creativity awakens more honestly when the pace slows down and that quiet—so rare in our everyday life—finally has room to appear.
